The thought/idea/concept of things going terribly/completely/horribly wrong can be distressing/unsettling/frightening. But while it's easy to get caught up in a spiral of anxiety/fear/worry, sometimes facing/acknowledging/contemplating the worst-case scenario can actually help/benefit/aid us.
